Clique Calçado was started as a shoe manufacturing trading agency in the mid 1980’s, following the intention of its founder, Carlos Cunha, to establish himself on his own, independent from his family local shoe manufacturing business in Felgueiras. As a result of a very strong personal determination, a thorough knowledge of the local footwear industry and foreign markets, as well as very hard work, Carlos Cunha, with only a small team of half a dozen collaborators, reached out a large volume of footwear exports into the biggest European shoe retailers and Department Stores, in just a couple of years time since he had started.
